is it safe to put pond plants in his tank? if so, what kinds of plants are safe/unsafe?

the kids:

three-toed box turtle: foxy

western ornate box turtle: sunshine

eastern painted turtle: unnamed... the little guy hasn't arrived yet, but, he's being shipped soon, i'm so excited! help me name the little guy! suggestions are welcome!

snow corn snake: victoria

bearded dragon: sort of unnamed at the moment! he's a new addition! help me name the little stinker! suggestions are welcome!

green iguana: geri

3 dogs, 14 cats, tons of fish, and bugs!!!

If you're talking about local pond plants from Pennsylvania, go ahead and decorate the set-up with any you find.  Eastern painted turtles will know what's good or bad in your area and will avoid whatever's not good to eat.  They shouldn't have a problem with anything you use from their native environment.
