| I have 9 ball pythons most are in zilla critter cages you can start out with a small tank just be aware they grow fast. I recommend going ahead and getting at least a 20 to 30 gallon tank just so you don't have to worry about it so much. The zilla tanks also have locking lids also don't forget the lights you'll need to get those sepretly, a heat pad, and hide boxes (you can make those, but you need to make two one for the hot side and one for the cold). You can find some good deals on the internet for cages and supplies as well. I spent about $400 altogether that includes my pastel Betty.

Just a recommendation.....buy the reptile carpet. It's so easy to wash and if you buy two while you are washing one you just put the other in there. Also coconut bark in their warm hide kept moist helps them shed too and it's so cheap just make sure you don't make mold in it! after mine sheds I let the bark completely dry out and then moisten it again when she is getting close to time to shed again. Just bits of advice.... I hope you enjoy your ball they are wonderful amazing creatures. I also use a heavy large dog bowl for her water dish...saves a little money too good luck and have fun

Reptile carpet is not a great choice for BPs. I guess it is ok, but coconut bark and aspen are better, in my opinion, but thanks
