I know your snake already got adopted, by some well-meaning keeper.
Congratulations!
But, I have a question concerning your description of this snake as an 'Egyptian' False Water Cobra. I wasn't aware of an african variant for the False Water Cobra, only the rear-fanged (Very mildly venomous) Colubrid from South America, primarily Brazil - Hydrodynastes gigas

Here is a very nice looking female specimen of this species. It's out from it's enclosure for a look-see, (Note handler's protective gloves),

And a head detail photo of another captive-bred female of this species,

These snakes have a (deserved apparently) reputation, as being 'bitey' and pretty unpredictable captives to handle, as do just about all water-loving snakes. They are quite beautiful animals, though..... Was your snake Isis, actually a Brazilian False Water Cobra, Hydrodynastes gigas?
Nope. No signature for me today, thanks.....

| This false water cobra (at least that is what the shop keeper calls him) doesn't have a hood; she more or less just flattens out in the neck area. Unpredictable is right! She's a meany! And she seems to be faster at striking than my corns are...
