| That is strange. Before my beloved fire-bellied toad passed away (R.I.P. Salsa!!) I fed him a couple of waxworms. And I would always find him A. Swimming in his pond B.Climbing and walking around C.Hiding in his in homemade coconut hut, and coming out eventually. the next day. It could be that superworms are very active, which entices my beardie and turtle. Maybe if they're hungry they try to chew through. Or it could be that an amphibians digestive system isn't as tough as an omnivore's. (plant matter is harder to digest than animals) Anyway, that waxworm probably bit you because it was scared. Probably a survival tactic.
