In your opinion, what is the greatest cause of endangered herps in the wild overall? Pollution? Habitat destruction? What?

I have to say it varies upon the region. I would have to say habitat destruction is the main one across the globe. But other places over collection and habitat destruction.

I would defiantly have to go with habitat encroachment. If you look at the big picture, almost every place people have ever settled, was a place that some herps lived.
Pollution and over collecting defiantly do play a big roll though, especially with amphibians because they are so sensitive.

I think the main reason is loss of habitat as it is for so many animals out there.

Now that it has been proven that global warming is a scam, habitat destruction is #1. At least, I think that habitat destruction is the "greatest threat" to herps. And most other animals too...

I don't think it is a scam. I believe that many things said about it are not really true. But look at where this "scam" has brought us. Green energy, fuel, and ordinary living are all becoming huge aspects of life right now.
And I don't think the dying polar bears and others animals loosing their food and homes to warm conditions think Global Warming is a scam. The globe is warming, that is true. Maybe not the whole humans fault and whatever else they say, but their are physical signs.
