Ok, so there is this one spot in my room that dosn't have anything on it, and its psst me off becasue theres nothing there. So I was thinking of getting a inexpensive herp to put it there. I was thinking leo, but then I decided to get a pac-man frog because they don't need a lot of care. I have one question though. Like most frogs, do Horned Frogs need de-chlorated water? Also, do horned frogs also eat small or large crickets? Plz respond back asap. Thanks

They will probably eat small crickets when babies, but then large crickets after a little bit, these guys eat mice! Lg crickets are not going to be a problem

I use mineral water for them.
Feed my baby penny sized fantasy frogs super worms this show they can eat anything of their size but personally I don't recommend Crickets because they bite the frog I recommend minnows but the problem with them is that they are sometimes unclean or parasite loaded you just have to make sure you have clean minnows

I decided to get a pac-man frog because they don't need a lot of care. Thats an interesting way to put it. Getting an animal because they don't require a lot of work... Anyway they will eat anything that will go into their mouths, including you hand, rocks in their enclosure...you get the picture. Keep reletively high humidity and make sure that they don't dry out-because if you simply put a water dish in their cage they most likely won't use it since they very rarely move at all.

Well I don't want some hard to keep animal. I busy alot and I have swim practice every singal weekday night. And any ways I never said I would definatley get one.

| The cheap part is the pacman frog. They do require a 10 gallon tank, a heater, a large water bowl and deep substrate. We use coco fiber and keep it fairly wet. Ours does come out after his light goes out and once in a while goes into the water dish. You will rarely see them. They bury themselves in the substrate. I do not recommend moss or even gravel because they can ingest it and become impacted. Most pacman frogs will be able to eat large crickets, they have huge mouths. Mine is about 3-4" and eats crickets, hoppers and earthworms. We tried the goldfish and minnows and he wouldn't eat them. I do recommend getting a pair of tongs in order to feed him mice. They will bite you, if they think that you are food. Yes they need de-chlorated water. If you want a super easy and can be an inexpensive pet, that needs minimal care look into a tarantula.

Yeah, I might get a hissing cockroach or a trantula. I know how to keep care of a hissing cockroach, are trantulas the same? well, the same that you have katschame?
