I believe that if someone on this site posts about a wild animal caught, and it's a species that is threatened, or in trouble that the members should not help them in the care for the animal. It only promotes other people to do the same thing and diminishes the population even further. I'll be disappointed if I'm banned from the forum, as I have been a member for a long time, and if I am banned, hopefully others take this as an example and promote captive breeding and leaving wild populations alone.

| Why do you think you'll be banned? Anyway, just to let some of you know how we run these forums -- we try not to run them. We let all of you have as much freedom to post and discuss as we can. We do not allow a few things, such as cursing or personal attacks, but we never get involved as long as you are having good old discussions. Now, on to your specific problem. It is very difficult to know when someone has an illegal or endangered animal. State laws vary and federal and state laws often change. There are different rules for captive bred and wild caught animals. This is just too much for us to monitor. So, it would be impossible for us to decide what is or isn't acceptable. It is up to all of you to speak your mind. If you do not condone this then make it known to the poster (in a respectable way). That is your opinion. Sound off and they'll take your message or leave it. That's is then their choice. That is the point of the forums right, differing views, open communication, and sharing knowledge and experience. The moment we decide what is right and what is wrong, is the minute we lose that. R.M.
