Ok, I posted this in another section, now I'll try this one...Lizzy has been raised on crickets and mealworms. There are no mealworms out there, save for the real small ones, which she won't eat. I'm not sure if she's eating the crickets. I have been feeding her super worms, but now they are hard to find. Will she eat earthworms, wigglers, or redworms? Haven't tried waxworms, but I don't want to waste money on feed she's not eating (I have a bunch of small mealies now that I'm stuck with). Any suggestions out there?

no you can not feed them earthworms red wriggelers or nething like that. If you are worried hand feed them the crickets. Waxworms are fatty and you can get them addicted to them.

You can grow the mealies - they all start out small, if you put them in a container with some oatmeal, leave them out at room temperature and give them a slice or two of potato every couple days for moisture. This way you will have bigger mealies again soon!

As for other feeders...you can offer the crickets with tweasers, or just watch closely when you feed to see if she is actually eating them. Also, you can try roaches or silkworms - both of which are very nutritious and usually go over well!

Well roaches wont work if they are bigger than the leo. I am not sure of the size of your leo but dont feed anything bigger than its head. Well supers are fine. Along with that you might wan to tell him what kind of roaches because there are a lot.

There are a variety of different roaches, i personally feed Blaptica Dubia with great sucess...depending on the age of the roach they range from tiny-tiny-tiny to about 2inches...plenty of good sizes for any sized leo

Why not? I've never done it, but it seems a little crazy to say no to something like that. I mean, their bound to eat them in the wild aren't they? I don't know, mabe I'm just really confused but I don't see the problem with it, as long as the worms are healthy.

How can you not know if she is eating crickets? If you can't find any crickets in the cage, then she's eating them. Have you tried ordering mealworms on line? Try http://www.wormman.com/.  You could try Phoenix worms. Most lizards scarf them up and they are high in calcium. Wax worms once in a while won't hurt and I doubt she would get hooked on them if you offered them once a month or so. I know you don't want to waste money, but thats what sometimes happens when you are in this hobby It's trial and error.
