I know this has been said before, but I think we could use a chat a room. It actually would not be that hard. If you use elluminate it would be fairly simple. Elluminate is just a like class room accept digital. I attend Ohio Virtual Academy and all my live meetings that include teachers and students are used in elluminate. It can hold 100's of people. People can chat over microphone, chat box, a white board were people can type or post something from their computers. There are 100's of functions on elluminate. They actually have a free 30 day trial, so it could be used as test run for 30 days. What do you think? I was wondering, Why dont you offer your reptile t-shirts in the point redemption section anymore?

If you dont mind i'd also like to make a few suggestions for items to invest in for the reptile rewards section (if you like them and you think they'd be popular enough to meet the demands it takes to make them along with the time.),

List of suggestions:
1. A variety of reptile plush animals.
2. Custom Banners or Liscense plates (example: Beware of Bearded dragon, or CAUTION reptiles riding in the car, got the idea from a liscense plate i saw on ebay.)
3. Reptile figurines

This is not much of a problem, just something you might want to make better. I have a Club Reptile Account and whenever I get a blog on one of my pages, I get a helpful email from Reptilechannel.com. My problem is, it never tells you what page has been commented on, so you need to hunt through all your pages until you find the blogged page. Do you think you can fix this? Thanks in advance!

House Gecko for species profile.

i have noticed that there isnt a topic on house geckos at all the "G" is green then the "H" is grey and the "I" is green...so i was making a suggestion of adding on house geckos to the profile list. i am most intreuiged by these facinating geckos. this is just my thought.

a "vote for all of the animals" button

i wish there was a vote for all button on every profile page because some people may have lie a dozen or so reptiles and it takes a long time to refresh the page, click on a different animal, click the arrow to see the rest of their animals..and have to do it all over again a couple of times..

it just takes a long time to vote for everyone's animals especially if they have more than 5 animals..

i just wish there was a button to vote for all of a person's animals similar to the "vote" by the green turtle at the top of a page.

I was exploring the other channels and on the fish channel I noticed that they have a product review forum and I think that it would be a good idea to have one for us. I for one have great products that I would love to recommend and bad products that I would let people now not to get.

I also think there should be a magazine forum to discuss what the magazine has in it and idea for what it should have.

What do you think?

Just my friendly suggestion. maybe it will be a much more healthier forum if we will have a thread for E.R.(pets emergencies,illness and first aid). thanks

there should be more in the reptile points catalog thing. there should be some small hide boxes, water dishes, or other small cage decor or even small critter cages. this may be a little over the top, but it seems like a pretty good idea to me. what does everyone else think?

I just thought it'd be cool to have a chat room on the site that away when the forums are slow we can just kinda hang out or if we just have a minor question like "what size is this tank?" you know stuff thats only gonna have one answer & there ain't much since in posting a whole topic about it. With a chat room these simple questions could be resolved in thirty-seconds & the forums wouldn't have as many topics with just 3 or 4 posts in them ,because it was just a simple question. I think there should be reptile education program (like a schooling) for all of the members (if they choose to). I had to take a online coarse for scuba diving before I took classes in the real world. Why can't we do something like this on reptile channel. It would educate more on the scientific side of reptiles. Which would educate us and help us educate the public with true education.

i think that the reptile channel should have a vet forum, so people can post health questions. people could share info on how to keep herps healthy and to help people who may not have access to a herp vet or do not have a serious issue. health info gets mixed in with other forums. i think it would help people and their herps. i have found many cases were a herp would have lived if more than a few people found it.

any thoughts?

Hello ReptileChannel Mods. I dont really have a suggestion... It's more of a question. I stumbled upon a bearded dragon site a few months ago and I was wondering if you guys were connected to that site in anyway? I guess im just curious is all. When I found it, I thought it was pretty cool and since it was beardie dedicated it made it even better. But I noticed after awhile the only thing anyone really cared about was pictures.. People would block and push your topics down the forum list if it didnt have pictures and then they would just become picture obsessed. After only being signed up for a few months the whole site just kind of died down and no one did anything with it, the only people you would see on it were Me, The Mods, and another member every now and then. Like I said I guess Im just curious, So I thought I'd ask if ReptileChannel ever had any kind of association with them.

I put in my subject description that if any Mods here felt that this topic fit better in a different reptilechannel forum to please go ahead and move it.

what if there was an online game for everyone on this site and you could be your favorite reptile/ amphibian? it would bbe fun because you can learn about other animals and you could meet other people.

also there could be levels and different places in the world where you have to do certain tasks. (i.e. save the rainforest from flooding. or bring food to the desert.)

Photo Gallery Herp Divisions

I think it would be easier if the photo gallery was divided into separate sections depending on the herp. For example, if you were only interested in looking at snakes, or lizards, or amphibians and so on. I know I never see the pix at the very back of the list because it takes sooo long to go through them all. I just think it would make it more user-friendly. Any thoughts?
