Delete Post button NOT WORKING

Recently I made an accidental topic in the wrong forum and I couldn't delete it (turns out my mouse moved when I was going to click on a forum hence the wrong one) I also noticed Lord of the Frogs commented on this problem too. It would be rather helpful to delete accidental posts and topics if the delete button worked.

I've been tryin to upload a few pics for hours, and i keep on getting redirected to a page that gives me this msg:

"Sorry the application encountered an unexpected error. Information about this error has been logged. If you continue to receive this message please contact the board administrator"

i've tried at least a dozen times, and tried in two different forums, nothing worked.

help someone? this is driving me nuts

This message keeps coming up, and coming up, it does it sometimes four or five times before loading a forum page and it is infuriating. I'm about ready to throw my computer across the room.

It happens on my dad's computer as well, it's coming from the site. How do I get rid of it? JKIHIUFES$R SO ANGRY.

in the past week, there have been three topics started by people asking for people to submit their stories of "nuisence reptiles" or other negative stories... so they were deleted, but one was put back up my the mod, who said the editor said it was fine... WHY??? this is a REPTILE FRIENDLY site, we dont need anyone trying to find negative stories to ruin our hobbies and careers.... i think the 1st member who posted one of these topics was banned, and i think he just made a new profile and posted a similar topic.... please delete these crappy posts, they are not helping the forums, just ticking people off, including me.

The photo of today's (June 29, 2011) Reptile of the Day is the exact same photo (just flipped around) of the February 2009 Reptiles magazine breeders choice, a "Firewater Leopard Gecko." Plus the photo comes up on multiple sites via Google image search. The winner could actually be the breeder, but I am suspicious.

A week or two ago, I was on my PowerBook G4 with the Safari browser and typed in the URL to Reptile Channel, just like normal, to check on a post, to see if I got any votes, etc. Then, it came up, just like normal, and like ten other windows with strange numbers as URL addresses were popping up and shooting these viruses into the "My Downloads" file. It wouldn't stop, and a whole bunch of little icons that looked like brown boxes showed up as "presents." I called my dad over and he installed this software that saved the computer and told me to never go on Reptile Channel on a Mac computer because it is infested with malware that only harms Macs. The strange thing is, my PC is perfectly fine, even with me on Safari. Has anyone else experienced this? Have the Moderators heard about this? Thanks for everything.

My snake, Jenna, won Reptile Rampage last week (first RR win) and I never received the 500 points. Has anyone else had this problem? I gave it a week to see if the points would show up on my account but still nothing.

I see you can add a photo, a few photos, videos, but wheres the "about me' section where i can fill in all the great details. A spot for "what my house is like" where your viv or terra can be seen and described. Havent figured out how to get more photos to appear the the Rollover window either. I'd love to make more or less a facebook / blog about him, I like RC hope it has more features im just somehow missing.

so my friend has reps and wanted to make an account. once she did she found out it was all glitchy. she cant change anything on the control panel, make new topics, add replys, and open up certain things. i tried to make an accont on cat channel and the same thing happened to me.

Hello reptile channel moderators. I'm not sure if you know about it, but someone had posted a rude reply on 2 of my topics called "what do you do if your snake doesn't want to eat?" and "the four tiny pythons", so I reported these replys and asked for you to contact me. When I checked on these forums a couple minutes later, on one of my topics, the reply was removed, but on the other (what do you do if your snake doesn't want to eat), that whole topic was no longer on snake stuff. What happened to it?

I recently took an awesome new picture of my Bearded dragon. I have added new photos to my account, but I can't seem to change my main photo that shows up in the photo gallery. Yesterday and today I have selected the picture put in the proper box and hit save, yet my account photo is unchanged.

I ordered some bearded dragon diet with my points in mid September. It hasn't arrived yet. Its adult bearded dragon diet mad by rep cal. What could have happened to it? I know that the order went through because it asked for my address and it the right amount of points got deducted, because of the purchase?

I am having issues finding how to update my information, not really my profile, but when others click on my name, or even when I click on other peoples names, not much information shows, just shows name, posts, activation, and minor things like that, but there are options for email address, and many other options that I'm finding people have blank. Well I am trying to update this information! And I cannot figure out how. If anyone knows, please inform me!

i have a new picture of my whites tree frog and i want to make it my main photo, but i don't know how. and i also placed a photo of his habitat under the area were the pictures for other herps go. when i click on it it loads up my account again. how do i get rid of that photo?

How do you post multiple pics? I have tried to, but when I try to post a second picture it almost rejects it and the forum home page comes up instead of the picture. Does anyone else have this problem?

Reptile Channel Blog Reader Comments..It's Getting out of Hand

I hate to address this, but I am seeing it become more and more of a problem each day. The most common comment is "Nice." This particular comment has no real expression towards how a reader would feel about all the blogs in general. I am suspecting that people do not want to take the time to write a logical post about how they feel about the blogs. maybe they just want to quickly post some nonsense to get their free points? I for one love the blogs and do take the time to write positive feedback about the blogs.

Maybe this is how this can be resolved?

A 50 character minimum for a post consisting of 5 words or more?

Any other suggestions?

Just a quick question……Has anyone else been getting those Beniful® brand WagWorld ads? I think they have nothing to do with reptiles and I wonder why they are here. They're popping up right and left. (well, more like top and right there are no ads on the left side.) I am used to seeing the cricket farm ads, herptile supplies, and frozen rodents. No offense to dog people, but shouldn't that be on dogchannel? I think that this ad may be useful for the dog owners on here, but it is not site oriented. I am not being mean to dog lovers, I love dogs…Wouldn't want to own one…but love them. Just to give reference, I have never seen an ad for Tortoise food on Cat Channel. Again…I am not trying to anger anyone, just calling this to mind.

I wont to change my user name. The thing is that when i go to the control pannl to change my name, i see the name but it is in dull letters. I highlight it then press delete but it just takes me back to the previous page. Why cant i change my user name?? Has it been disabled for some reason??

i want to post my picture. you know were it says your user name, number of posts, visits, member rank and the squares, and for some people a picture of one of their pets? how do i get that picture up? it should go right below my user name and in the box on the left side of my post. i only have seen the members that have been on the channel for a long time have it.
