ok so I subscribed to reptiles magazine in the beging of agust, and I got 2 copys of the magazine last week. They were september and octobers issue (White throat monitars and mantellas). Today I got novembers issue, why am I getting all the magazines? I thought the magazines were monthly not weekly

Three days ago I tried to email someone by clicking on their forum username, but that person still hasn't gotten my email. They also tried to email me but I haven't gotten an email either. I also tried to send them a private message on the forums but that also didn't go through. I was hoping that you could help me.

Communication Problem with Reptile Club Rewards and Reptiles magazine

Okay so here's the deal. I saved up enough points for the reptiles magazine purchase under the club-rewards section http://www.reptilechannel.com/club-reptile/rewardcatalog.aspx It says current subscribers will automatically have their subscription renewed for another year. I keep getting letters in the mail from Reptiles Magazine that says I need to renew my subscription ASAP. Okay, I thought there might have been some miscommunication from reptilechannel.com to the Bowtie. inc./reptiles magazine headquarters. I called the number listed in the magazine 800-876-9112 a hotline for subscription services. Here's the funny thing, They know absolutely NOTHING about reptilechannel club rewards or anything of the like. lol I must have spent 30 minutes on hold while the 1st lady I talked to went to talk to ask her supervisor about it... When I was finally taken off hold she said her manager also had no idea what I was talking about. I said "okay, well I'm looking at the web page right now. Do you have internet access I can tell you exactly what website I'm looking at: http://www.reptilechannel.com/club-reptile/rewardcatalog.aspx . She told me that she did not have internet access and that she would take my number and call me back later on... Guess what? I never got a call back. lol I'm not mad, I'm just very confused on how the reptiles magazine headquarters have no idea about reptilechannel.com/rewards. This is all very frustrating and if one of you moderators could help me out I'd really be appreciative. I don't think reptilechannel rewards is a scam, I just think that maybe they should educate their employees better lol!

I have been trying to add pics but for some reason, it takes forever to load up then when it is done, the box that pots up tuns into a mini version of the reptile channel home page. What is up with that? Is the pic installer disabiled or something?

Lately, When I have been trying to get on forums, theres a error that says "Out of memory at line:2". This is really anoying because this keeps on coming up and it takes at least 3 minutes to look at a post, this is really annoying.

I wonted to join the milwakee area herp socioty but when i called the number listed on the channel, i got a 20-25 year old woman that said that the place sounded like it wasent in existence anymore when i said the name. Whats with that! I need an answer. I really wont to hear it from one of the reptilechannel moderators.

Especially for the photographer's section; I have pictures that exceed that 512 KB. And when you size them down they become pixelated.

The email account that I registered under for reptile channel, and thus this form, is going to expire in the near future. I tried a while back to switch my email address, but there was some glitch so instead of the email being changed, another account was set up for the other email address. Is there a way to delete the new account and simply change the address on the old one? I emailed reptile support twice, but didn't get a response either time. Please help. Thank you.

It won't let me post a poll. when i click the poll button it brings up a page that says: The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. and just cleared my cookies because when i would click the poll option it took my back one page. what is happening?

I've been trying to post a picture thread, but whenever I click on the little picture icon, nothing happens. I'm assuming there should be some box that pops up asking me if I want to browse to a file on my computer or otherwise, but nothing "pops" up. I want to upload pictures from my computer. What's wrong? How can I fix that?

I think instead of having a dozen different sections for specific topics, Reptiles Magazine Community should just have one big general forum. I mean, no one really pays attention and will non-chalantly post snake topics in the beginner section and lizard topics in the general section, etc etc. It just seems it would much easier on everyone involved if there were no different sections.

What do you think?

"ok i think i'v decided to go with the scrested geckos i'v done some reading up on them in the last 2 days. i was thinking about going with the tree boa, but they seem a little extreme for me lol for a beginner reptile keeper.now i dont trust getting info from my local pet store's.'because quite frankly they seem like a bunch of immature air head teenagers'.so i come to you guy's the Experts . you guy's have been very helpful in my decision. i need to know a couple more things like, Bedding,lamps,plants,tree's, etc... does anyone know of any helpful web sites or have any idea's they could share with me?"

yeah, i'm a teenager....i'm 17 and a freshman in college, and it's just not good sayin stuff like that with the possibility of teenagers being around. See, I got into reptiles (and just animals in general) back when I was still in middle school (8th grade). And I know that if someone said a comment like that when I was younger, I can almost guarantee that I would've started an arguement about it. Now I come and address it in a more mature manner, but what if a younger teen came along and did make something of it? Then we'd have a situation on our hands that could've been prevented just by someone else using some common sense and not throwing stereotypes around. I'm a teenager, (and not bragging or anything), but I know my fair share of info on reptiles, and how to raise them. Geeze, i'm goin for a major in zoology for gods sake. Watch with the stereotypes, people. thanx

Room Mate for a Tree Frog

My wife just got a White's Tree Frog that is about 2" long. We have hihm in a 20 Gal Tank. My question is, are there any other reptiles that would peacefully and safely coexist with this frog?

I was thinking about a Chameleon, if that requires a different habitat I wondered about the long tail grass lizard.

Suggestions are appreciated.

If mixing species is a no no then that information would be helpful also.
