Hello I am new to this site I saw it advertised in Reptiles magazine and thought I would join. I have a nine month old corn snake, I got him when he was 5 months old and so far we have gone through three sheds completely and are looking forward to many more in the future. He is my first herp but plan on more in the future as soon as my wife gets used to the one I have now. She actually touched him the other day.

Hiya! My name is Ali and I have 2 leopard geckos: Fred and Annie and 2 leopard gecko eggs i'm incubating. I have been breeding leopard geckos for awhile, but this is my first successful breeding season. I am going to keep one or both of the hatchlings from the eggs im incubating right now and hopefully get 1 or 2 more leopard geckos of different morphs and good bloodlines so I can expand my leopard gecko breeding line further. I love all reptiles, especially snakes such as ball pythons and kenyan sand boas and I hope to own and possibly breed some in the near future .

Just thought I would introduce myself briefly; I'm a tortie loving, snake adoring purple peep who currently owns (1) Dumerils Boa, (2) African Leopard Torties, temporary custody of (1) Bearded Dragon and (1) Wire-hair Fox Terrier {who, as one might imagine should they know this species, goes nuts anytime I play with another critter that he thinks he should be allowed to play with!}

Hi all! I've just started to collect herps. I like toads & frogs the best. I've got two Bufo Viridis, one I've had for about a month, the other I just picked up this weekend, he's in quarantine waiting to be put with the other. I had an awesome Bufo Regularis but she got an infection from a cut on her foot that she had when she arrived and died after about a month.

I live in Va and I'm hoping to pick up some mossy frogs at NARBC in November.

I've got to ask, I keep seeing people with lists of pets in their sigs that have numbers in front of them separated by periods, what do the numbers mean?

Hi everyone! I've been with the FishChannel forums for a few months, but I'm new to the reptile forums. I decided to branch out.

I am a full-time student. I have maintained box turtles and a juvenile snapper, a rescue leopard gecko, and numerous inverts including hermit crabs and tarantulas. I'm currently in the market for a blizzard or normal leopard gecko as my newest friend.

I look forward to sharing information and learning from the forums.

Hello everyone! I just joined up on this site, and wanted to introduce myself and my husband. I am Kelly, and he is Matthew. Usually it is me posting on forums, but sometimes he likes to pop in and say hello.
We are both HUGE reptile lovers, and currently breed bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and are working with pale agamas. We are hoping to expand into some of the other lizard species, and are talking about Texas spiney lizards and Clown (Painted) Agamas as our next ventures. We do run a small business, Kordek's Kritters (www.kordekskritters.com).
We are also involved in a rather cool project that we would like to let people know about - we are starting a new reptile show in the central PA area, called the Central PA Reptile Expo (www.pareptileexpo.kordekskritters.com). It is a new style of show for the PA area, as it is a family-based show with some educational seminars. Make sure to check out the website and come check it out!
So this is who we are. Expect to find us hanging around anywhere people are talking about bearded dragons or leopard geckos! See you all around the forums!

Hello everyone. I'm Mike. I'm new to the forum, but not to reptiles.

I would consider myself an intermediate keeper. I have a lot to learn but I can hopefully help some people here and there as well.

I currently own 1 male suriname red tail boa, 1 female western hognose, 1 unknown snow corn snake, and 2 female leopard geckos. I hope to add another female suriname and a carpet python to my collection next.

Hello! I'm new to this site. I subscribe to Reptiles Magazine and it mentioned this site so I had to check it out! I am currently on a couple other sites: repticzone, reptilegeeks, and beardeddragon.org-all with same user id. My hubby and I currently have a small zoo! We have 3 female beardies. Ino is about 4 months old and she was purchased at the Hamburg, PA reptile show August 2nd, she is a sandfire red/gold. Ayasha is about 1 1/2 years old and I got her a week ago from a friend of mine who rescued her from back living conditions: she lived in a 5 gallon tank and was fed a couple of mealworms a week, she is about the size of maybe a 5-6 month old-she is a pig and loves her food, not sure of her morph. Hinata is an adult rescue and is about 5 years old. My brother and I got this girl 2 weeks ago and she was near death, we fattened her up and now she is living with me-they have a huge breeding project and we want to make sure she gets a ton of tlc which she will with me full time. My brother and his wife currently have 7 adults (2 males and 5 females), 1 juvenile female-about 4 months old, 7 four week olds, and 13 eggs cooking that should hatch in about 2 weeks. We are up to our eyeballs in beardies but we just love them SO much! I will be starting to breed frilled dragons as soon as I can find a nice breeding pair. I love all animals and have the following (list always subject to change!):
1 cat - Tweeter - male
1 flemish giant rabbit - Dooney - female
3 beardies - Ino, Ayasha, & Hinata - female
2 mississippi map turtles - Bowser (male) and Salmanelly (female) - these are hubby's
5 fire belly toads - Kermit (only male) and the females: Bombina, Scuba Steve, Keroppi, and Koroppi
1 paddletail newt - Popito - female
1 betta - Cobalt - male
2 apple snails
9 freshwater clams
a bunch of ghost shrimp
a bunch of mollies
hundreds of nasty crickets! can you tell I do not like bugs!

I have owned and bred so many different types of animals in my life and would love to have my own pet store some day or even a zoo!

Well guess that's enough for now-long post! After I figure out how to upload pics (haven't even tried yet) I'll get some on of my babies.

Hello, my name is Stacy, I live in Adkins, Texas, just outside San Antonio. I have recently begun breeding mice & rats & are looking to maybe interest some of you local reptile lovers to our growing supply of feeders. For the last few months I have just been trying to breed to have a large enough supply of all sizes to start spreading the word to those who might be interested. My hubs and I are both reptile freaks, and actually met because of our mutual love of the scaled things in life, while working at a pet store. You can see in my siggy how our collection is coming along. We've bred corns, beardies, cichlids, roaches and mice. We are hoping to get into breeding RTB's, crested geckos, hognoses, honduran milk snakes, and a few others after awhile

New to this site, but enjoying it every minute!

I used to have loads of reptiles back in 2003, but due to economic hardship I had to sell all of them. Now, I'm going to start the hobby again, probably with either an Eastern Fence Lizard or a Lined Day Gecko - it depends due to space, which I don't have much where I live right now. I'd love to be able to have a pair breed easily without taking eggs out of the habitat to incubate.

I see some great pictures of reptiles on this site, and will try to look at every one.

Hello everyone, I have only been on for a few days and figured that it was about time to formally introduce myself. My name is Michael and I live in Utah. I have been into reptiles for a little over 20 years. I started breeding on a very small scale about 8 years ago. Currently I am breeding Blue Tongue Skinks, Columbian Red Tail Boas, Dumeril's Boas, Sinaloan Milksnakes, and Crested Geckos. I am also trying to get my Green Tree Pythons to breed. I love all things dealing with reptiles and truly enjoy talking about them. Glad to meet everyone and I look forward to talking to you all.

Greetings herpers!

I just found this site, so I'll introduce myself and see you around! My name is Chris, and my girlfriend Jane and I have a nice collection going! I have been keeping herps for over 30 years, and we started this collection about 4 years ago. I had a large collection that I gave up to try and save a marriage, but it didn't matter! I've learned from that one!!

I really love the giants (gee, can you tell?), but all herps are cool in their own way. My favorites are varanidae, teiidae, pythonidae and boidae.

Here's a pic of Jane with Mumps, our Argentine B&W tegu. When doing maintenance after one of his surgeries (he's a rescue that came with some bad infections), he learned that we don't poke and prod him if he gives us some lovin'

Hello fellow herpers! I just joined today and wanted to introduce me and my clutch! I have 4 bearded dragons named "Marshall Tater", "Hagrid", "Ren" & "Stimpy", A northern blue tongue skink named "Widget", a chameleon named "Cammy", 7 fire bellied toads that don't have names yet, 2 green tree frogs named "Stryper" & "Petra", 2 southern leopard frogs named "Scarlet" & "Rhett", 2 cuban tree frogs named "Pablo" & "Gabriel", and an albino kenyan sand boa named "Pearl".

My animals are my babies, not just mere hobbies, so most of my time is centered around them. Some have unique stories as to how I aquired them and I'll share that in later posts. In the meantime, I did get "Marshall Tater's" and "Hagrid's" webpage established today and invite everyone to check them out. "Marshall Tater's" is written as if he'd been the one saying it, it's pretty cute I think, but then, I am "DragnMama" lol! I will be working on getting the others established within the next few days.

Please, vote for "Hagrid" and "Marshall Tater" for ROTD. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Just a quick note to introduce myself. I have worked with and kept turtles for years. My most experience is with box turtles (Eastern, Three-Toed, Gulf Coast, and Ornate). I also have experience in keeping and raising Red Foot Tortoises. I currently have a female Gulf Coast Box Turtle, an Asian Box Turtle and several Three-Toed and Eastern Box turtles (the Easterns saved from bad hits on the road and nurtured back to recovery but cannot be released). I have hatched and released Eastern Boxies and kept one hatchling who is a gorgeous happy and healthy male. I live in the area of some nice state forests so I have a great place to release Easterns if I find them on the road or to take the hatchlings I have had several times over the past years. I just love turtles of all kinds and also have a common snapper hatchling who will be released next year when he/she is larger (found in the middle of our high school parking lot!).

I look forward to chatting with other turt lovers and sharing tips and experiences.

My name is Marine, I'm 32 year old female, married with 2 sons (1 is a special needs child), & live in southeast coastal GA. I have had reptiles for several years and also do reptile rescue & educational reptile shows too. I have a variety of snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, amphibians & 1 tarantula. I love to educate people on proper care, handling, feeding and locale of the reptiles I have and show. We have a large 20'w x 20'l x 8'h building just for our reptiles, and a 18'w x 18'l x 6'h fenced yard with screen top. My husband helps with feeding and cleaning, but I do the shows in my spare time for a small fee & donations (for gas & feeding costs! lol).

hi. my name is lily and i am hoping to get a pet reptile soon. I have done a lot of research and i am deciding between a bearded dragon or a mali uromastyx i really like the bearded dragons because they are so calm and sweet but i like the mali uromastyx because they are also very nice but not as calm and they only eat veggies and fruit and leafs but no bugs. My mom is very supportive of it and she likes the beardies but they are really expensive we also looked at crested geckos and i like them alot too my mom likes them because they are really soft and they are super easy and they can be fed a formula instead of bugs, they require a small cage and they dont need all that lighting and stuff. can someone tell me more about them and help me decide? Also if you know of a really good place that breeds one of these reptiles and they sell them at a good resonable price. instead of like $300 or $500 for 1 bearded dragon i have been having trouble finding a good site. oh and also if they are close to the state of wisconsin. thanks so much! ~Lily

Hello, I am new to the site and enjoy keeping raising and breeding bearded dragons. I also hope to start breeding a new species possibly african fat tailed geckos. I also own 1 american tree frog, 1 green anole 2 eastern box turtles and 1 red eared slider, and 3 3 week old beardies that my female (Sanoma) had. These babies did not come from my male (Protector) but Sanoma came to me already gravid from the previous owner. But I hope breed them next spring. I am not sure what color morph Protector is but if any of you have any idea please let me know what you think. But I was told by Sanomas previous owner that she was a cross between Chris Allen Red and something Fire like Sandfire or something. But I can't wait to see their babies next year. Which bring up a question. Do bearded dragons breed more than once a season or year.

Hi I joined a week ago and forgot to come here and introduce myself. I've got 9 ball pythons 3 are here on the site. I'm waiting to put the others up untill I can get a better camera to take pics with. Next week they will all be up. I've posted coments on other forumsand on some blogs, but I wanted to give everyone the back story on how I came to love reptiles.

When I was 5 years old my family and I had just come home from eating out so it was very dark except for the moon and stars there was no light out at home in the middle of no where. I was running toward the house when... BAM! A copperhead struck me... Ouch. This was horrible to me I knew what a copperhead was so when my mom reached me I told her what bit me and they started imediate first aid and drove me to the nearest hospital. I remember the pain and how sick it made me to this very day and untill last year when my boyfriend brought home a ball python we named Jay. I was a little unsure about the whole thing, but I had already gotten myself to the point I could be in the room with snakes as long as they were in the cage or some one holding one and not run screaming from the room. The first time I held Jay was the turning point for me I was tense at first but I just relaxed and let him do his thing and out of the 9 ball pythons we have Betty is mine and I can't wait to add more herps of all kinds . I've gotta go but I can't wait to meet as many new herps and learn what every one can teach me.
