i think that leos are strictly insectivores. i have never heard of them eating any vegitation

I love leos! i've been trying to save enough money for a few. ive done research on them for months nonstop. what's your geckos' profile name? i was wondering.. can leopard geckos eat veggies or fruits, or any other thing instead of bugs? winter's coming up and i make my money by working outside, mowing yards, etc., so i will have no way of paying for bugs. if not, then i'll just have to hoard mealworms while i got some way of making money, lol

im soo sorry for you i just recently lost my first leo. You see i breed my own meal worms and when I fed her one she stopped eating and i couldn't figure out why i looked in the meal worm breeder and under the first layer of oatmeal was mold it had eaten some of it. She ate 1 cricket a day and then stopped altogether she passed away 5 days later. im sorry for your loss but remember keep going. if you find my new leos profile you can read the story on how i found him

ok. captive breed herps are less likely to have parasites, and there are specific laws that are different for every state about taking animals from the wild. if its legal then its really your choice. some people like you have had success with wild caught herps. but it is healthier for your other herps to have their tank mates captive breed.

im sooooo sorry! and i dis agree amphibian keeper. my freind caught 3 norther aligator lizards and tamed them and bred them. the mother had 6 babies.

oh that is terrible I'm sorry you should get a water dish that does not go above the back. and you ALWAYS should buy captive bred herps. again i am very sorry.

Blotch, my wild-caught eastern fence lizard, died after acouple months of captivity. i had her water bowl too full and she drowned: she had thirteen eggs in her. R.I.P. Blotch.
