Thanks! So, Tokays are just that easy huh? Just a male and female...? There's no brumation? How many eggs and times a year do they breed?

RE: Looking into to breeding Tokays and Red Eyed Tree Frogs

Read my response in the introductions area. I did leave off two things--if you have multiple males, that is a good thing. Female red eyes can be a bit picky about mates. Second, simulate a dry season before the rainy one--by reducing misting and lowering temps (or, if you have a water feature, stopping misting and reducing temps to say 70-75 by day 65-70 at night)

RE: Looking into to breeding Tokays and Red Eyed Tree Frogs

yes, a male and female are a little important red eyes can be a little tricky to breed and they are very delicate, let me update my caresheet on them and ill get backto when oyu have decided to take the plunge

RE: Looking into to breeding Tokays and Red Eyed Tree Frogs

red eyes are allittle bit more difficult search online

RE: Looking into to breeding Tokays and Red Eyed Tree Frogs

yepp opal's pretty much got it covered

RE: Looking into to breeding Tokays and Red Eyed Tree Frogs

tokay geckos will breed if you get a male and female in the same cage.

Looking into to breeding Tokays and Red Eyed Tree Frogs

How simple is it to breed those two species? I have the available equipment etc. at my disposal... I'm knowledgable in many facets of herpetoculture, but I've not bred yet. I've read TONS on the subject, but would like to hear from some voices of experience...

Feedback???
