I dont know.

I order 1000 half inch crickets every 2 weeks. Half inch lasts longer and is a good size for all my animals. I get them from lllreptile but i am starting to save up to buy feeder roaches and then i will breed them and hopefully wont have to buy crickets much more.

We order bulk crickets at the wildlife rehabilitation center where I work, but I don't recall the brand offhand. You have to be mindful of what size you order, though - if you get adults, there's a good chance they'll die off before you get your money's worth of food for the herp.

The crickets we get are good-quality and well-packaged. I'll try and get the brand for you next time I'm down there.

Mostly from LLLReptile, but I have also order from Big Apple Herpotological. Both are good in my opinion. BAH has better frozen thawed variety. There are chicks, quail, rabbits, and rats and mice. I'm like you with the feeder cuteness-I could never feed a baby chick or a little bunny to a snake. But if you don't find quail cute Shadowherp, you still might be able to get a snake that feeds on F/T stuff.

The ones at my Petco aren't bad at all; but it is $5 for 40 crix. Crickets are so expensive when ordered by the dozen and stuff. 6 dozen is like 5 bux or something. I prefer to order crix in bulk. They are much cheaper in the big picture.

Well, the cricket boxes are provided by the cricket company (Timberline) they now have this thing where stores can custom order a box with their pic and logo and then Timberline puts in the crickets and ships them off.

The store is, not the workers, and I'm not just saying that because I work at Petco. But yes, the pre-packed crickets are ridiculous.

Yeah, they're OK. At my Petco, they're always alive, for a long time. (For crickets, which is like a week) I've been buying cricks from Petco buy the 7 dozen every week or so, and my herps are starting to pile up, so in about 2 weeks, I'm gonna start ordering them from LLLReptile by the 250 count, and only buy them in dozens from Petco when I'm waiting for a shipment. I recommend the "Cricket Keepers" for sale at stores and a few online sites. They have tubes for the crickets to hide in, then, when your ready to feed, take a tube out and tap until you have your desired amount of crickets. I also recommend feeding cricks Fluker's orange cubes (food, vitamins + minerals, minor water source) and Fluker's yellow globs (Calcium LOADED, water source) both are refrigerated, and crickets seem to like them.

I pointed out to a Petco cashier that all of their take out crickets were dead, and he agreed that it was a dumb idea and that most customers just but them individualy. A local pet store sold Bug Boxes by the BugCompany and they were great. They came in a cardbord box with a resealable hole along with food and water cubes. Crickets would last a week. Then they stopped selling them. Damn.

I think that they are a waste of money and good crickets. I have never had good luck with those.

They have food, they give them this green thing. But when thats out, it's out.

I do not use them, cause you can't see if they are dead or hiding. I did buy them once and this guy was nice and let me get 2 more for free since half were dead. Petco has them too, Both have had them for a while.

Yeah I saw those. I belive there "crickets to go". Most of the crickets are dead. I don't think they have food for the crickets etheir.

A while ago I got Petsmarts "take out" crickets. One o0f Petsmarts worst products yet. They have dead crickets in the box also cricket larvae in it. I ended up throwing it out when I got home.
