I offer the 'salad' in the morning and leave it in till the afternoon when i feed the crickets. This way they are more likely to eat the greens as they get hungry throughout the day. On the odd time, ill sprinkle some mealworms on the salad.I wouldnt feed the beardies more then 10-15 of them a couple times a week. I also sprinkle a little calcium powder on the greens a few times a week, although i generally dust the crickets, as they are always guaranteed to be devoured. Maybe once a month or so, or for females that have just laid a clutch, I'll give a f/t pinkie.

RE: bearded dragons food

mealies are usually thrown in with the salad to grab your beardies attention and get him eating greens. I offer fresh salads everyday. every beardie is different therefore has different tastes. offer him a variety and watch and see what fruit and veggies he likes the most. my 1 year old male spike loves sundried cranberrys, strawberries, grapes, and shredded pineapple. along with several different veggies.

RE: bearded dragons food

Here is a great link, that provides a detailed chart on what to feed your dragon:
<a href=" http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html" target=_"blank" class="SmlLinks"> http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/Nutrition.html

Mealworms can be fed once or twice a week.

bearded dragons food

i feed my bearded dragon crickets, sometimes mealworms and some greens. but i was wondering what other vegetables i can feed him? and also how often should i feed him mealworms?
