They're no big deal in the herp trade, but I in the wild, I love them! They aren't nippy, and to me, I think wild ones are one of the best wild herps to "hang out" with.

It's funny because during summer, Iget tired of seeing green anoles, but in winter, I'm dying to see one!

RE: herps of the boring age

Corn snakes, there just so uninteresting.

RE: herps of the boring age

And this is why I will never own a ball python. There is NO such thing as a "boring reptile".

What is this? It's someones opinion, so relax. I happen to think that pac man frogs are the equivalent to owning a pet rock. The only remotely interesting thing they do is eat. Obviously, the pac man enthusiasts out there would disagree with me, and thats OK. To each his own.

A reptile being 'boring" is subjective.

RE: herps of the boring age

What is this?! I beg to differ as far as BPs go. My BP has the weirdest habits and traits, which keep me interested. On top of that, BPs are alot of peoples' first snake, so they hold a sentimental value as well.

To be honest, frogs are cute, but I think of them as a little dull sometimes. To me, they all look relatively the same. Some are pretty in color, some are plain. Some climb walls, some jump in the rain.

Give me a good ol' burm any day. It keeps you on your toes when you've got a snake that could eat you.

RE: herps of the boring age

What is the point of this topic? Herps cannot be "boring" because they are not meant to be "fun" they are a hobby to watch, enjoy, and learn. Not something you watch.

What is fun, is watching them eat and just plain watching them

RE: herps of the boring age

OI don't think of them as boring either.
