I have my 3FBTs in a 20long with a half and half setup. I wish i just did a full aquatic setup though, I am trying to redo it.

Anyway, do you have a page for your FBT? as you can see in my signature, I have a link to Cricket's (male)

RE: Can aquarium plant fertilizer (API Leaf Zone) be used safely with FBTs?

you've seen pics of my FBTs... i was under a diff. username, but I forgot it... I would suggest anything smaller than a 10gallon long, or a tub measuring around a 10 gallons length

RE: Can aquarium plant fertilizer (API Leaf Zone) be used safely with FBTs?

Okay, thanks... that's what I figured anyway. I'm kind of switching my FBT over from a somewhat naturalish habitat that just wasn't working in the way of cleaning... waaaay too hard to clean. Wasn't set up very right or very good though. I think it wouldn't be so hard if I had something bigger than a 10 gallon... maybe in the future though.

(P.S. it's aquarium liquid fertilizer, you know, it goes in the water... it's not like it is dirt or anything like that. It's for any water plants you would put in there... like anacharis or something)

RE: Can aquarium plant fertilizer (API Leaf Zone) be used safely with FBTs?

Yep, my crestie is in something similar. organic potting soil is good stuff! mine has a bit of eco earth mixed in, and river pebbles in the water area.

RE: Can aquarium plant fertilizer (API Leaf Zone) be used safely with FBTs?

You can also use also use organic potting soil... For example the "Great Stuff pond" from homdepot is okay for fish, therefore many froggers are using it for frogs.

I would suggest trying a google search to be sure, I will do it too.

Can aquarium plant fertilizer (API Leaf Zone) be used safely with FBTs?

the title doesn't lie... it's fish safe...
