Opal and herpsrule gave you questions you could answer so they could make a better dyagnosis on what this is, and you complete ignored them. If you care about your frog, put some pictures on and give some more info.

My guess is its a fungus or bacteria problem.

RE: help!! Rotting toe!

70-75 degrees is not enough information. Usually people say what kind of reptile (or amphibian) they have then forget to say the cage info. So... nice to see you gave us the cage info right off the bat, But what kind of frog/toad is it? Knowing the humidity can't be helpful if we don't know the breed of frog. So what is it? Barking Tree frog, Red Eyed Tree frog, Leopard Frog? If you have a frog that doesn't need a lot of humidity and you give it too much... Then that might be the cause of the infection.

help!! Rotting toe!

Help! I have a frog and his toe is really red and it might be rotting off!! I've been putting anitbiotics on it (neelsporin) but it isn't helping! His cage has been fairly clean... and I've been cleaning the water every other day and his cage is about 70-75 degrees. He is still chuby and eats and he is active... but I don't know what's going on and how to help him. I've had him for about 3 years and this has never happened. Please help!
