Your best bet is to attend a herp show and purchase starter fruit fly cultures and culture materials there. One, you cut out shipping (thus reducing cost and possible die off), two, someone can teach you how to do it face to face, not face to monitor. Also, I find prices tend to be best at herp shows anyway. As far as small snakes, I can think of many that fit your category--what interests you most? How cheap is cheap? With answers to those questions I can help you further. As far as breeding D. azureus (which is now re-classified as another form of D. tinctorius), I could write you a story, or direct you to an excellent care sheet. Check out www.saurian.net Pat Nabors already wrote several good care guides that will tell you everything you need to know. Happy research and happy herping!

help a new Herp?

I New to Reptilechannel.com and am looking for advice.

I have two D.
