good try but I highly doubt that. Remember: I am over 200 feet up a mountain.

I'm not sure about that. The snout looks to pointed and the body pattern to broken up compared to the photos posted here.
I still say the Alsophis rufiventris but they are close and it's hard to tell without any good reference pictures....

Alsophis rijersmai is the only snake in St. Maarten. It is sometimes called a racer or a grass snake (though it's not related to either type). It lives on insects, small amphibians, reptiles and warm-blooded animals.

Saba is a 15 minute plane ride for $250, or a 6 hour boat ride for $30 away from st.maartins,west indies. I took the boat. Here's why: we got to see a lot of flying fish. and the airport... smallest in the world. Here is a pic:

From what I am finding it looks like a red bellied racer Alsophis rufiventris

Where exactly is saba? That will make it easier to identify the snake.

well it might not even be a snake maybe a glass lizard proboly not, to me it looks like a hybrid between a gray rat and a corn

I want herping in saba and took a bunch of cool pics(see "awesome herptile pictures" in photographer's section). I was wondering what kind of snake this was.
