You can buy them from the pet store.

Hope your turtle gets better soon.

RE: PLEASE HELP! Baby RES with Respiratory Infection

Is the vet a reptile vet? many meds can be "compounded" or strong meds can be diluted with Saline or normasol R to get the right dosage. For us reptile keepers we have to use meds that are often used for cats, dogs, livestock and even people. I would think a baytril could be used. I used a course of baytril on a very sick sulcata. Due to the dose she needed it had to be mixed with sterile saline. I am not a vet, but I worked for one for years and often had to figure drug dosages.

RE: PLEASE HELP! Baby RES with Respiratory Infection

I have a baby RES - 4-5 months old that has a respiratory infection. He has bubbles from his nose, listing, coughing, and has swollen eyes (when closed). I took him to the vet yesterday and the vet said he was too small to give antibiotics to. He is 9 grams. She said she the dosage was too small for the syringe. What can I do? I have increased the water temp, added a UVB light in addition to the basking light, and have quarantined him. I am changing his water to add warmer water every 12 hours. There has to be some kind of medication that can be given....any advice??
