You do know that not all crocs are going to look the same and not alligators are going to look the same.Maybe he was just born that way.

I stand by what I say.Yes it does of traits of both but maybe that's just how he was born.Maybe he had deformed befor born or has been attacked to the point he just is the way he is.You need to be opened minded to everything because anything can be posiable.

| i posted on your other topic about this but something pointed out here is that it is possible that this animal is just born diffrent, like the cat with three ears or the cows with extra limbs or the pig with two snouts... animals mutate and some are just plain strange, maybe this croc is 100 years old or something awesome, who knows, but i am not runling out the hybrid thing either... i am not going to repost what i posted on the other topic though you can read that later. anyway neat find. it is probably best to defend your theory over the picture and just site it as an example of somtehing unexplained in the wild vs defending that this croc is a hybrid with nothing but a pic to go on... in you have access to the animal however you may want to include more about it in your progect.

| Megan said that you need to be open minded. I am. Also, what ever is on that film, it is not normal. We can all agree on that fact. What is makeing it doffrent is another story entirely. Lets recap. We all agree that it has traits of both crocodile and alligator. We also agree that it is not normal. And since we have a wide range of theroys, i say we should nerrow it down to the two most poppular ones then work on them. I think the two most poppular ones are the hybrid hteroy and deformity theroy. Now for the next few days, we should work on those insteed of makeing 1000 theroys then working on them. So we should work on those two. Lets begin.

in order to do that we need more information, like i said in my other post it could be an adivism from back before they split.. or a deformity, a hybrid perhaps, a diffrent species unnoticed... unlikley, a number of things... i feel this is speculation though and nopt science due to the limited information, but i am will to buy into any of them honestly, nature is weird and i am not afraid to say it, people wouldnt belive some of the stuff thats out there so why not one more thing... good luck again, neat theory

It's going to take alot to convince me on that's a hybred, but if I am wrong I am sorry, but we don't know yet.So anyways, yes this world does have alot of weird things in it.I still think it was deformed when born though.^__^

| I agree with Megan and SP, the chances of this croc being a hybrid is slim. I think it was just deformed or injured. And if it was a hybrid, then what two speices would have bred? And herptile, can you provide a link of where you got this picture? I think in the other post you said you got it from a website similar to the forums here. I think if we find who originaly posted it on the web, we will find answers.
