I'm looking to get rid of 2 bull frogs and i was wondering if there are any major pet stores or shelters that i could donate them to. the Idea of selling them has also come to my mind. Finally i considered releasing them, but i was wondering the regulations on releasing animals into the wild.

My reptile Family:

1 Bearded Dragon ( 6 months old) just bought
2 American bullfrogs
hopefully more to come soon

releasing is never a good idea, if they are captive bred then there is no way you can release them. if they are wild cauht, then they might be spreading parasites and/or abcteria to other herps and might be uncomfortable in the wild again.

just see if any petstore will take them, make sure you feel like they will take care of them. you can always make a topic in the adoption forum

I have 2 Albino's, there awesome looking. Try taking to a local show, pretty much any one there should take them. If you live around Harve de Grace, MD they have one every month, I'll be there & I'll take them, the add is in the back of Reptiles magazine, there is one this weekend Oct.3. Good luck whatever you decide

what kind of bullfrog. I have 3 calaverus jumping bullfrogs. They are 1ft long and they are wild caught and they live in my pond now. You can release them at a local pond that they are native to. Its better to  do htat before you've had them too long. And ya and did you buy them or what?

The calaveras jumping frog? As in, the short story by Mark Twain? I don't think they are really a type of frog. that doesn't mean that they're not, though.
