So you want a water feature I'm guessing?
If you do want one, keep in mind that you will have to provide filtration and water flow in order to keep the water healthy for your red-eye. It does get a bit expensive and time-consuming. Just a heads up. If you are fine with that I will be happy to help you.

| No, you really shouldn't. A water feature would add to much humdity to a red-eye's tank. They need lower humidity (thirty to forty percent), as opposed to the general assumption. Plus, red-eyes are bad swimmers and large water feature may lead to drowning. A small water dish will be good enough for a red-eye.

Grant (10/6/2009) No, you really shouldn't. A water feature would add to much humdity to a red-eye's tank. They need lower humidity (thirty to forty percent), as opposed to the general assumption. Plus, red-eyes are bad swimmers and large water feature may lead to drowning.A small water dish will be good enough for a red-eye. It would depend on the size of the water feature. A small waterfall with a little stream filled with about a half of centimeter of water and a small pool at the end would be nice. You would just need proper ventilation and such. If you do want to build a water feature, herpsrule knows alot, he just finished a awsome custom cage! Im sure Maximum and Grant could help you too, cause there smart. Im dumb and don't know anything on how to build a water feature

| Ha! the day Steve95 is dumb is the day i get out of herps...thanks, dude Anyway, I guess i'm thinking too big, my caresheet doesn't contain info on building a water feature (thinking of a different one) but yes kept to a minimum it cna be safe, but you to take into consideration filtertration and humidity. It will actually be some work How high is you humidity? What is the size of the tank?

| Herpsrule, its a care sheet, not a book. You dont have to put every single little detail on everything, you could, but I wouldn't. Its your caresheet so do what you wanna do. Oh, and I'm working on a extensive 'care sheet' on anoles, i'll post it when Im done.

| Well, I feel to put in every tip possible to make the herping world safer and for the newbies who are "uneducated" I find that most care sheets (if not all) only put the care, i want the care, the right care, and how to do it. I sepnt hours and days researching how to do this and that for dart frogs. rant over Ah, totally want to see it! Hey, maybe i will write a book
