Maybe we should have a sick herptile forum. Instead of it all scattered around in lizard lounge, snake stuff, and amphibian arena. (And don't forget invertebrates!) It would give information at the source and people would get help when they need it.

I agree with that we should have a reptile 911.

I know that small animal channel has a sick pet section why don't we have one!

I don't think this is a good idea. It gives people the idea that getting subjective advice on a forum is somehow an acceptable replacement for getting proper veterinary care.

The RC Mod made a good point. Besides, I don't really think it would benefit the forum much, if at all. If someone has a sick herp, they can make a new thread in the appropriate section and still get the same help they would if there was a sick herp section.

I agree that is a good point by the reptile channel moderator!

the only reason why i suggested a Reptile 911 was out of concern for people with sick reptiles.

my suggestion for a Reptile 911 was not meant to be as a alternative for a veternarian!
