| The point of this hobby, or any other hobby, is for our own enjoyment, so we can do whatever we want with the animals as long as it doesn't threaten the well being of the specimen. You keep saying the word "natural." Are you against morphs? Could you catch a jungle x coastal integrade in Australia? Yes, you very well could. Could you catch a coastal jag? No. Are you against selective breeding? A lemon yellow jungle is a very rare sight in the wild. The reason jcps are considered attractive snakes is due to selective breeding...

| Heres my simple opinion. Iwill speak no more on the subject after that. My reasons that i'm a purist: The intergrades are so interbred (in carpets)that you can't hardly find a REAL pure anymore, or that they breed animals to animals that they would usually never come into contact with, Such as Carpondros, Burm X Ball, Ect. Ect. And morphs are not bad, they just get a little overboard with the ball pythons. Thank you and have a good Evening
My Pets: 0.0.1 Blood Red Corn Snake (Larry) 0.1.0 Red Eared Slider (Shelly) If you are not going to respect that we love reptiles, don't go passing crazy bills and don't kill every herp you see, O.K. people!!! Ha, what can i say, some people have drugs, i have herps COMING ON OCTOBER THE 10TH OR 11TH: One Jungle Carpet Python Post, or we'll killl you. Lol jk

Most of the color morphs we produce would be more detrimental to that snakes life in the wild than almost any of the hybrids we produce. If your going by "natural" standards, that is. Hybrids do happen in the wild, carpondros are actually a possibility by nature as there is a small part of Australia where chondros live and it's possible that it could cross paths with a carpet. Other things are more of a stretch but given enough time and natural events anything can happen.
However I have said before and will say again...there is NOTHING natural about keeping snakes or any animal for that matter. Therefore there is NOTHING natural about the things we make from them. color morphs, selective breeding, hybriding, it is all the same thing. Human projects. not nature.
