| My female Jungle Boa (Daisy) loves to eat her food backwords, check out her last meal, and if anyone is concerned, lol, her gums are fine. We took her to vet yesterday(that's another story) & while we were there I asked him (Chadwell) to check her out & she is doing great. Info., if gum is swollen it is usually 1 or the other. Thanks for looking, Jeff HopkinsHerps

My snakes have eaten backwards a few times. It harder to swallow, but there were no ill effects.
