I was considering getting a tarantula. I am not sure what kind yet. I was wondering what kinda make s good pet, tank sizes that are needed, feeding and some care info.

I will also be doing my own research but I would love all of your opinions.

Thank You

rose hairs and mexican red knees are two common and easy species to care for and both species tend to be pretty handable i don't know details on care infomation off hand but a simple search on a search engine should give you some decent care infomation

Rose haired tarantulas, Brazilian black tarantulas, and Mexican red kneed tarantulas are all good starter species.

Tarantula care is pretty simple.  Five to ten gallon tank with coconut fiber substrate, a hide (half logs work well), and a water dish are all that are needed for the enclosure.  One to two crickets a week should keep them very well fed.

0.1 Eublepharis macularias
1.0.1 Rhacodactylus ciliatus
0.0.4 Terrapene carolina
0.0.1 Theloderma corticale
