Steve 95 (11/4/2009)
amberlini95 (11/3/2009)
I play guitar. Thinking of starting a band soon.  I think that is really my only other passion.

Everybody that plays the eletric guitar thinks there so great and there good enough to actually organize a band.

I play the cello, and thats 10 times harder to learn how to play than the guitar. HA! Who needs phrets? I can play a 6 minute Fugue with my eyes closed.

Another thing that really ticks me off is that people don't know how similar orchestra instruments (voilin, cello, viola, string bass) are to guitars.

Dude... Lay off. This is getting absurd. At one point you were just stating your opinion, now your just being a jerk.

I guess you took that a little more serious than I meant it to be.

Im sorry if I offended anyone. I just hate how everyone cares about guitar, drums, etc. Theres other instruments too you know. I just wish that everyone would just sit down and listen to some Bach every now and then. Its not as boring as it seems.

I wasn't offended at all. But be careful how you word things. Its very easy to misinterpret things in text.

I'm a fan of modern and classical instruments alike...the metal bands that incorporate classical instruments like violins and cellos and such are at the top of my favorites list actually. Speaking of mixing of the two...I might get to see the Trans-siberian orchestra this year!

Oh and expanding on what steve said...it is actually a lot harder than most people think to start a band and keep it organized... He may have come off a little harsh but having been a half assed manager for a few local bands around here I can tell you what a pain in the butt it is.. I've all but pulled out of that drama now and only on occasion help the bands out these days.

I play piano too. And I respect all the classical stuff. Guitars, drums, and bass guitars aren't the only instruments that I'm aware of. Being taught how to play piano, I've played with cello, violin and the like. Besides, I don't think I'm like a guitar god or anything. I just want to play with a rythym guitar and drums. I don't want to play gigs or anything like that.
