That gecko is a hatchling High Yellow (morph) leopard gecko.  Give it about six months and he'll be covered in spots.

Even though they look fairly similar, they are not very closely related and their care is extremely different.  Although they are both in the Eublepharid (Eyelid Gecko) subfamily of geckos, leopard geckos are Eublepharis macularias and fat-tailed geckos are Hemitheconyx caudicinctus.  Also, fat-tailed geckos come from tropical wet/dry climates in northern Africa while leopard geckos come from arid regions in west Asia.

0.1 Eublepharis macularias
1.0.1 Rhacodactylus ciliatus
0.0.4 Terrapene carolina
0.0.1 Theloderma corticale
