Has anyone else noticed that the person who won reptile of the day today... most likely DOES NOT own most of these creatures? In fact unless he's a caretaker at the Shedd aquarium in Chicago that caiman lizard is definitely not his.
Not only that but he also has a Tuatara and a Komodo dragon (and other rare but not impossible to own animals) listed under his animals... Now all of these pictures look like they are from the same aquarium so it is possible perhaps the person works there, in that case cool...awesome job...but tell us that you work there please! Because to me it looks like some kid just took a bunch of pictures or possibly stole them from a search engine and posted them up here to make people think he's cool.
Let me know if this is not the case, then I wont be ticked that stole a perfectly good reptile of the day from someone who actually deserved it.

Rant over.

Oh I KNOW they are...not all, but the caiman lizard definitely is. That set up is very distinct. I believe the komodo is from the same place as well but can't be sure on that one...either way that and the tuatara are definitely NOT personal pets.

Some people are just sad and pathetic and they need satisfaction and acknowledgment from an internet website. It's sad really.

I think your right they definetly look like zoo pics. Those enclosures look way too big and elaborate to be in someones house either that or this guy has a mansion and a barn and a warehouse, lol.I have noticed before that somepeople post stolen photos isaw one the other week i don't remeber who it was but he had i think it was four leos and he had the same photo posted for everyone.I'm not saying that he doesn't actually own these animals but please don't use someone elses photos and claim it's yours.

Reptiles are like pringles once you pop you can't stop.   My cold blooded kids:One ball python(Henry),A green iguana(Iggy),a corn snake(ghost), a Dumeril's ground boa(Buddy), a spider ball python(Spindel),and now a kenyan sand boa(Digger)

Your right though. Anyone could just post a picture and make up some story about it and say that they own it like:

even though I dom own one of these guys, I could say that I own them all.

I am currently incubating Red Tail Boa eggs...
