Well, I was walking by this toy store and saw that they were selling african dwarf frogs in 1.5 cup containers! And, they they had 2-3 frogs in each container! They also told me that they can live their life in those containers and you should do water changes 3-5 times a YEAR! I am also into aquariums an I know that you are supposed to do 15% water changes every week and 25% every month. And for very small tanks, partial water changes 2-3 times a week. What can I do to convince the store that african dwarf frogs should be housed properly (2 gallons per each frog), have very frequent water changes, and aren't so simple to care for as they made it sound?

Whats the point? Its a toy store, not a petstore.

To Steve 95: I agree with you. What's the point. But I take it as animal mistreatment.

from what i can tell that happens kind of frequently, there is a special setup that some company says works and they have been selling them in their special orb things and i hear that they work alright , i am skeptiacl, i dunno i think they need more space and care.

yeah I know. In most toy stores that want to sell some kind of animal, they just put them in some little container or orb that's at least like 10 times smaller than what they're used to living in. It's horrible!

i would remain neutral. you can try to reason with them though. its their store and they will do whatever they want. let them waste their money on stocking the stuff.
