I need help. alrrys scale looks like its falling off. like the pretty colorful part. underneath it its just an off-white. HELP!!! what should i do??? will it come off in the next shed? Any help appreciated.

What kind of snake is Arry? It may be scale rot if there is too high humidity. Give me his temps and humidity. If he continues to loose his scales you will need to immediatly schedule a vet appointment!`

Larry is a corn snake his humidity is 50% and temps 75-85.

He should be fine. I had a black rat snake a while ago, and the same thing happened. It healed after, I think, two sheds. If he loses any more scales take him to see a vet. But the most likely thing is that he hooked it one something sharp and scratched it of. If he is bleeding, and he has a particle substrate put him on paper towels until it heals to a degree.
