Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could advise me on something rather basic really. I am going to breed a couple pairs of Ball Pythons soon, and down the road, I would like to breed my boas as well. One thing I have not yet calculated is the extra feeding expense of all those young snakes. Could anyone offer a little insite as to how much it costs to feed the young after they hatch, and how long until they are old enough to go to a new home? I'd like info for both the Balls and the Boas please (B.c.c). All advice/insight is welcome. Thanks everyone!

it would not be cheap to feed a bunch of growing ball pythons, and several adults. unless you can pay the money for, housing, food, and vet care, for many ball pythons do not breed them. i do not mean to be harsh or critical. i just thought you should know that you are looking at a LOT LOT of money. although i am sure that you know that. good luck.

it depends on where you get your feeders but be prepared to have to feed the offspring for any where from 2-3 weeks to 6-8 months it depends on how fast you can move em. if you atleast sorta know the local reptile store [ if you have one ] you might be able to sell to them but that would have to be wholesale [ which tends to be 30% of retail price but can vary quite a bit ] atleast for my area i can sell a baby normal ball python for around $5 to $8 at wholesale

if you have them eating for at least a month and you can sell them right after that it shouldn't cost that much. but you don't always sell all of them right away unless you sell them to a pet store. and if you do that you most likely won't get very much money from them
My snakes: 1 hypo corn,1 amel motley corn, 1 snow corn, 2 amel corns, 1 kenyan sand boa, 1 irian jaya carpet python.
