We are looking into getting a veiled chameleon, and was just wondering how many crickets a baby usually eats a day. I've found all sorts of info online, but I couldn't find that. We are trying to decide if we will need to continue buying crickets regularly from the pet store or start breeding them ourselves. Ifc anybody can help us out we would appreciate it.

i would suggest about 5 or 6 proportionate sized crickets..i do feedings every other day, not every.

good idea! have you had any names picked out yet? that's always important lol..i want to get a rosy boa next or a garter snake, but my mom doesn't like snakes..

No not yet. I'm not sure which color morph I want yet. We are currently building a terrarium for a chameleon, but its not ready yet. I want a rosy boa, too! I will get one eventually.
