just wondering if any one has tried this.. yes the offspring may be sterile, but i was wondering if this can work??

i do not have the means to try this myself yet. my biggest fear is one gecko eating the other because i dont know how they will interact.

let me know your thoughts or experiences with this.

I have a Male Crested Gecko, i would say hes nearly fully grown. hes at least 6 months old.

Also I am looking for a similar Female to breed him with. i am in connecticut. let me know what you can do. i do not want to spend an arm and a leg for everything though. i will be able to get separate housing for the female. hope fully the 2 of them will grow to trust each other where i only need 1 tank.

Are geckoes the type of animal that the male needs to be kept away from the baby? i would guess so right?

You should probably breed same species geckos before trying hybrids. That way you have an idea of how everything works and some experience to go off of. You should keep baby separate from adults in most cases just to be safe.
The only crested gecko hybrids I know of is with a chahoua or sarasinorum.

one thing you need to consider before cross breeding geckos is are there temperature and humidity needs compatible. if you do i would LOVE to see the results.

Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you knew that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.
