Very touchy video. People know nothing about their pets. This is just ignorance towards your pet. How can they do this?

this video makes me so upset 
When I tell people about turtle rescues they usually laugh, because they assume turtles/tortoises are an easy pet to care for...
People don't realize that reptiles and amphibians live in micro-environments
Cats & dogs live in the same environment as people so their health concerns are more readily met, reptile/amphibian needs are often ignored because people neglect to take time & research their specific needs or are to lazy to take an active role in their care
Thanks for posting that video, I hope people with neglected turtles/tortoises watch it and realize that they should put their pet in more capable pets
