| Breeding mice is cool fun and easy, but like the other guy says it can take a bit of time. I have bred them for my dragons & blue tongue's, also the turtles will munch out too. The best way I have found is to start with 2 females and 1 male, then keep them in a colony, you can increase the colony by keeping only the females till you get to about 5 or so what ever you want. You have to be very careful if you separate them they can fight when re introduced and kill each other. So once you take them out dont reintroduce them back together again. I breed my ones in a big glass tank. I have had round 8 females and 1 or 2 males in together without any problems but that is because they were born together and not separated. Mice hate being moved round when breeding or the nest upset. Soon you will have so many mice that you will have some spare for the cat! You so lucky being able to have snakes, we are not allowed them in New Zealand.
