Somebody brought up a topic that was before I was on the channel. It is annoying. If you want to post on it. Make the same topic again.

Well i thought i would put my 2 sense in.
Most old topics have been long gone for a couple weeks to a couple months. I know you newer members want to help but a lot of the old topics are from people that aren't even on this site any more and if it is a question then it has been answered and if not its old enough that they have given up and isn't on this site any more. I ask you to stop bringing old topics back. I have been on this site for awhile and i have noticed it getting worse as new members are joining i ask you to stop and if you would like to start a similar post then please just start a new one instead of bringing back an old one.
But if it is a common one like: i want to get a corn snake. What kind of housing does it need, what should i feed it ect. I ask that you look at some of the older posts to see if they answer your question and if it doesn't make a new topic. but i have seen multiples of the same post with some of them being done by me but only twice because i learned. We are more than happy to help it just gets old with topics half a year dead brought back from someone thinking they are doing good even thought the person that made it isn't on here any more. So please stop.

| we might as well stop it's not working just like when i complained about topics being in the wrong places all i got were a bunch of people attacking me & it done absolutly no good so,just quit before you get attacked too also,i agree with gecko dude theres a million of the same topics most of them being "whats your fav..." or "whats the best beginner...."(i particularly hate that one thats why i posted a topic in beginner herpers discussion to help get rid of all the "good beginner..." topics)

| really, i think snake charmer has every thing right, except that its just the first thing that newcomers want to find out about other people on these forums is their favotite lizard, snake, turtle or tort, amphibian etc. its almost like instinct for people to weant to find out that kind aof stuff

| I believe that starting new topics in place of an old one is worse than bringing an old topic up. We can continue a dialouge on one thread and keep all information together. Many threads are not urgent topics that just because the original poster is no longer on the forums, shouldn't be added to. Many are concepts that can continue to be added to, that many people for years to come will find helpful. This forum has many years worth of information that people continue to search to help find answers. We will not delete posts for this reason. Most of the people on the forums are visitors searching old topics for answers. It may not be new to you, but it is to them. I will continue doing this as I have been. If an old post pops up, I will lock that thread. R.M.

| Wah wah, boo hoo! Big deal, some of these topics have responces from people who are'nt around much anymore! I'd hate to say some of them were alot more experienced and maby, if not more (dare I say it) witted or interesting. Theres a lot of good info in those topics, that some other members might have opinions to add to discussion. Please dont just start the fire again somewhere else, by reposting the same thing! That just means the topic could take the wrong course due to inexperienced "newbies" dominating the forum boards. Especially on the topics which the problems were solved properly. But, Im just one cog in the machine. Ultimately its your forum and the majority rules.......... for now!

Why are you guys freaking out about it? It is not like it gets in people's way, and some new information is always brought out by these topics even if someone has already asked about them. Because sometimes newbies to the site are NOT newbies to the hobby!
