I love gliders. We got two, both brothers when they were just joeys. They where great. We had them 4 years until one got sick after we moved and the other one died of a heart ache. It was the saddest thing to watch. Even though he was the bully of the two he was completely lost after his brother died.

ever since i was little i was facinated by dinosaurs i would watch all the dinosaur shows. as i grew older i started a facination with dragons (i still do to this day ) around 10 or 11 i became an animal freak and i got my first lizard at 13. it was a uromastyx named stubby. it wasnt a good first choice but he grew healthy. I then got him a friend, a bearded dragon named Draco. My uromastyx died when the pet store was baby sitting him. My fasinaton for bearded dragons just kept growing.

I don't know who got me started on loving Herps, I just love them.

My first herp was a bearded dragon at the age of 6, I named him Kid Rock, thats all I listened to back then. Unfortunatly we had to move, I had to give Kid Rock away

Well,I have a few things that got me started with herps.

I loved dinos as a little kid and I've always loved all animals so the combo of dino love as a baby and my love of animals that I still keep today and it is even stronger helped with the spark of herp love.I also always loved frogs and in my home,I didn't have lizards just frogs and I loved to watch them and when I moved to Florida,I saw this cute little Brown Anole and I knew I loved them and I taught myself how to catch lizards and all I did was let them go so the move to Florida gave me another part of the Herp Love Spark. Then my friend helped me create a lizard colonie so now I know how to have lizards to Dino love as a baby + constant love of all animals + the move to Florida + my friend's help = me loving herps.

Anoles are like icecream. They can be sweet but, will give you brain freeze with all their strange behaviors.

All is fair in love and war.-anonymous

I grew up on a farm so animals were every where. When I was 5 my mom let me keep a black snake I found I kept him until he got to be about 3ft.I've never not had a pet herp. of some type. Then in the early 80's heat lights and heat rocks started to become easy to find so I really got to keep more than just native reptiles.I've had one of my leos.for 10yrs. now.
