blkfirecrystal (8/3/2008) Just the fact that you are with us now, and clearly well enough to use a computer, states you are fine. Recent studies show that nearly every spider, and every snake may be venomous; HOWEVER, the majority of both groups do not posses a potent cocktail of venoms that can harm humans in a serious manner. Orb weavers and crab spiders are often dull reds and blacks, and though the initial bite hurts, and there is swelling, 99.99% of people are fine. As with all foreign proteins, there is a slight chance some select people are allergic to the venom, such as the venom found in Honey Bee stings. Again, the fact that you are still among us proves you are fine. You always want to be carefull though. You never know when your going to walk up to a snake or spider that can be venomous enough to kill you. Better safe than sorry.

Uh huh.The brown widow looks like a common house spider(acording to my brother)and so if you see a spider that looks like a common house spider,I'd be safe and ether kill it or toss it outside. If I am outside,I'll just stay away from it.
Anoles are like icecream. They can be sweet but, will give you brain freeze with all their strange behaviors. All is fair in love and war.-anonymous Click on the eggs to help them hatch!
