I got these two a few days ago but I'm worried that they will hurt themselves during feeding because whenever i put their food in they start nipping at each other.

Cool African Clawed Frogs. The lighter brown on looks like a wild cat by it's coloring so mabe Leopard,or Cheeta if he is really fast.As for the darker one,it struck me as a George.LOL!Good luck with your frogs.

Nice frogs, I had mine for a week before they passed away. I forgot to take off the lead band that the petstore put around the plants. I will try again in a year or two.

| I've kept several colonies of those little frogs before and will tell that them biting each other is normal. BUT, if you want to stop it, just to be safe, place food in seperate parts of the tank. Good luck!

| Those guys are fierce when they're big. They're an introduced species where i live and they will destroy a small pond. They kill anything smaller than they are and eat it. Plus they have crazy looking tadpoles. It looks like they have antennae on them. The tubercles are positioned just right. They are a real hardy frog though.
