There have been many topics on the ReptileChannel Forums from people whose parents will not allow them to keep herps, or limit what herps they can keep.

I would like to take this opportunity to suggest that if you find yourself in this situation, that you buy the 2009 Reptiles USA annual. There is a great article in this annual titled "A Perfect Fit: Eight compelling reasons why youngsters should keep reptiles."

The 2009 Reptiles USA annual is currently hitting shelves near you. For a low $7.50 price, your side is already laid out for you. Pick it up and have your parents read it.

Reptiles USA is an annual. It comes out once a year. It is a bigger magazine than the monthly issues.

IT has lots of great articles. You can order it off of our site here, you may see banners for it flash by on some pages. It is bigger and is filled with lots of large photographs. My favorite this year is the section on Ball Python morphs. Lots of great pics!

Like previously said, you can purchase it on our site:
http://www.shopanimalnetwork.com/productcategory.aspx?cid=31&mid=1

It is also sold at most pet stores and at book stores like you mentioned.
