I have some corn snake eggs that where just laid and i'm buying an incubator. One of my buddies has one of these http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/reptile-supplies/reptile-incubators/-/thermal-hova-bator-incubator1602n/ and he says it works good for him. Anyone else ever use this product or know of some other that you can recommend without breaking the bank? Thanks everyone.

Those kinds of incubators work fine, but it's not as easy to use as many think when they buy one. The one aspect that confounds people who get these units is that you have to set them through trial and error to reach the temperature you want it set at. There is no convenient dial with the temperature laid out in handy little numbers to simply dial in. You have to turn the L-shaped top of a set screw and adjust it gradually and keep checking it constantly at first with a thermometer to get it set properly. This can take several days, so you can't simply pull it out of the box and toss your eggs in. Once set, though, it keeps the temp very precisely.

Thats stinks, but you could use a red laser thermometer to check the temp.
