| My brother snapped this picture while in Vietnam. This guy was roughly 16" - 18" long, snout to tail tip, 6" - 8" snout to vent length. He was found basking on a rock wall at the top of a small foothill with no water in the vicinity. He was extremely quick, very agile and when he felt threatened easily disappeared up a tree. Anyone have an idea what this beauty is? Thank you, Jeremiah "Podunk"

It seems to resemble the Chinese Water Dragon. But, this specimen has blue on its head. My best guess is the Mountain Horned Dragon.

| To me, it looks like some sort of Iguanid. Almost like a cross between a Green Iguana, a Cuban Knight Anole, and a Collared Lizard. But I bet blkfirecrystal is right.

| The thread under Lizard Lounge has a Bingo, it definitely seems to be a Calotes mystaceus. I didn't abandon the other thread either, just thought I'd try another avenue. Thanks for all the help everyone. Jeremiah "Podunk"
