My mom said she wants the fire bellied toads because they are really simple to care for and I did all the research for her on what they need but the only thing I couldn't find is how many times they eat and how much they eat every feeding so I was hoping one of you guys did

Well I have a total 5 fbts and the 3 adults get fed every other day and they each eat about 2-3 crickets. My babies were getting fed twice a day when I got them in 1/08-they were the size of a thumb nail but they have tripled in size and they get fed every other day as well but they eat about 4-5 crickets each. Make sure the crickets are no bigger than the space between their eyes.

I fed my fire-belly 6-8 crickets every other day, with an occasional waxworm for the heck of variety. One of the best things about fire-bellies is that the average house tempature is heaven for them, both day and night, so additional heating is not required.
