Defiantly of the eastern box complex. Three or four back toes? Eyes looked red (99.9% est boxes with red eyes are males) in the picture, but a nice tail shot usually clears up an sexual dispute. Longer tails with the cloaca down the tail is a male, shorter tails with cloaca basically shell-line is a female.

4 Back toes, red eyes but short tail she is a she . still will not eating fruits she dug through the bananas, strawberrys and cantilope to get to the worms I put under the food and all she did after that was hunt for more.

That's and eastern box turtle.I have two of them.Her mouth is looking better though compared to what you say.But maybe it still bothers her to eat because maybe it still sore or it just irretates it.You should maybe take her to someone and help forse feeding her so she gets something in her sistem.I hope her shell and stuff gets better though.

she is eating the prob is she will only eat bugs she shows no signs of pain when she eats and she eats good i just can't get her to eat any fruits or veg. thats really the only prob. now. also when do i stop feeding her before winter or will she stop eating her self. and yes her her face is a lot better now. there is just a crack there now. as far as i can tell she is healthy. she is active, she eats, she swims, she eats out of my hand she is still a little skidish but she will take food from my hand. and just to night its a little cold here she half buried her self.

Well mine don't brumate or anything because I don't change the heat or anything much.I really don't know but just keep trying to feed her other food.Sorry if I am really no help here that much,just never happen to have food problems.
