Sand Boas and common Ball Pythons are cheap.........
-
The enclosures and equipment for purchase to keep them properly, is NOT.
Have your friendly Christmas Gift Giver, provide you with some, (or all!) of the expensive parts, pieces and equipment you need, to keep the animal you choose correctly.
Oh......
And the best snake to pick?
Easy!
Pick the species for keeping, that personally interests you the most.
Nope. No signature for me today, thanks.....

Moyer78 (9/26/2008) I never had a sand boa but heard they can give you trouble with eating/feeding untrue infact kenyens feed alot better than most other snakes since they don't mind the mouse being right in there face while other snakes like to strike from a distance

I'd go with the ball python, since they are simply fantastic! Once again, you should go with the BP--but ONLY if you do your research (extremely important for obvious reasons)!!!!!
...I look out for you, you look out for me...Just to let everyone know, I am Reptile_Dude...I just changed my username.

I like sand boas. Everyone and their brother has a ball python. Booooring. Watching a sand boa explode out of the substrate to grab food is exciting.
