Well ball pythons are very docile and easy to maintain. I dont know about the sand boa tho. But what about a blood python?? I have one and I think that they're alot better than a ball python. They're bigger, more colors, most are tame and They're awsome to watch when its feeding time!!

Agreed.

Children's Pythons are unique and are great beginners snakes-they just aren't very popular...yet.

My blood wasnt really all that nippy. she actually loved bein held. but all ya gotta do mainly is just mist her really good 2 times a day and then the norms. I agree that some can be nippy but all the ones that i have been around and many of them being very young and not held much werent bad. you just had to move slow with them and make em feel safe. But hey each snake is diffrent.
