I just took it one step at a time. First I stopped eating pigs products (because I love them, so they went first) then after about 5 months I stopped eating real meat, then I progressed and stopped eating poultry. So then I became a vegetarian. I do eat fish though. And really once you stop you pretty much forget about it, you don't have any desire to eat it and are content eating other stuff (which I must say, they make some really good soybean-ish stuff now).

| I recently got a male and female African clawed frogs and now have tadpoles which I have read plenty on taking care of them. But I can't seem to find out at what stage can I stop giving them pureed food. I guess my question is do you know when they develop there mouths and can eat food? P.S. I have had a min pin since I was a kid and love her to death even though she has never learned to NOT steal socks.

Froggy, there's an Amphibian section that you'll get more attention for that question on. Just a heads-up. Let's see...I've kept almost every "pet" animal under the sun. Cats, dogs, livestock, birds, small mammals, couple herps... My main focus is fish, though. I'm a Senior Member on the FishChannel Forums and I love it. I've also become the "go-to" girl when people at this college have problems with their fish. Weirdly enough, my favorite food is fish...I couldn't be a vegetarian either, I don't think. I like meat, but there are also some things I won't eat, don't support, etc. I also live on a very vegetarian-friendly campus, too. Aside from pets, I work at a wildlife rehabilitation center. We take care of orphaned, injured, or otherwise unwell wildlife and prepare them for release of possible. We work with a lot of birds and small to medium-sized mammals. So I'm wrestling hawks, medicating baby squirrels, caring for injured turtles, you name it. It's really rewarding; I might post pictures sometime.
